Higher Diploma in Management and Administration (HDMA)

Higher Diploma in Management and Administration (HDMA) - The programme targets holders of Diploma in Management and Administration as well as any other equivalent diploma programmes.

ESAMI has, over the years provided management training short courses to participants drawn from various sectors in the ESAMI service region. These have been non-examinable short courses in various aspect of management as requested. Yet the charter establishing ESAMI mandated the Institute to offer examinable management programmes. At this material time, ESAMI does not have plans to offer undergraduate studies like 1st degree even though there have been many requests. However ESAMI has the duty to offer competence based education to the working cadre so as to improve performance at work. Graduates from the HDMA will have the following managerial qualities:

Facilities Management competences. Are able to manage facilities including buildings

and estates

Manage financial resources effectively

Manage ITC for organization's effectiveness

Promote organization's image and competitiveness through effective public relations

and apt corporate communication skills

Instill and promote Business Ethics with sound micro and macro business strategy

WHY ESAMI HDMA:

The main purpose of HDMA programme is to provide a bridge between Diploma in Management and Administration (DMA) and further studies in Management like MBA. It further provides an opportunity for multiple entry and multiple exit points in Management Education. The programme however, has own status and own specific objectives.
